Rouge Valley Privacy Breach Class Action
Overview:
This class action alleges that the Defendants intentionally breached the privacy of new mothers at Mount Sinai Hospital, North York General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Heath Centre, Humber River Hospital and The Toronto East General Hospital (the “Hospital Defendants”) by providing a list of new mothers and other personal information to a third-party baby photography company for the purpose of selling baby photography services.
Class Definition:
The action was commenced on behalf of all persons whose personal and confidential information was recorded and stored in the Hospital Defendants’ computer database and whose personal and confidential information was provided to Just Arrived during certain time periods.
