KEW Media Group Class Action

Overview:

This action alleges that during the class period, KEW Media Group Inc. made misrepresentations in its public disclosure about, among other things, its working capital. The action alleges that when the truth of this information was revealed, the price of KEW shares dropped significantly, causing damages to KEW’s shareholders. Class Definition:

All persons or entities who acquired KEW’ Media Group Ins.’s securities in the secondary market from March 28, 2017 to January 16, 2020, other than certain excluded persons.

June 16, 2021: The Plaintiffs and the individual Defendants have reached an agreement on an order certifying this action as a class proceeding, granting leave to proceed under Part XXIII.1 of the Securities Act, and discontinuing the action as against certain individual Defendants.

September 14, 2020: Justice Morgan of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved a third-party adverse costs and indemnity agreement.

July 14, 2020: The Superior Court of Justice granted leave to the Plaintiffs to file the Statement of Claim.
